Why travelers stop here
In the Osang-ri Dolmens, a total of 12 dolmens are distributed. According to an excavation survey conducted in 2000, they are all northern-style dolmens. The dolmens in this area show traces of partial trimming on the capstones, and all have a flat slab shape. The size of the capstones varies, with the Naega Dolmen, designated as a monument, being the largest and the rest having varying lengths. The stone chambers are in the form of stone coffins, and wedge stones were used around the supporting or blocking stones to ensure stability. The floors of the stone chambers were mostly left as bare ground, and the dolmens were covered with flat stones or broken stones (rubble).
