Samsan Reservoir

Seokmodo Island is connected to Ganghwa's main island by a bridge, making it a popular destination for many travelers. Among its notable reservoirs is Samsan Reservoir. Located on the western side of the island and adjacent to the sea, it offers beautiful scenery and is also famous as a fishing spot. The reservoir has a full water surface area of approximately 65,000 square meters, making it relatively deep and large in scale. It has become well-known as a great place for fishing due to the abundance of fish, and in winter, ice fishing is also available. A cosmos path has been created around the reservoir, allowing visitors to enjoy beautiful landscapes when the flowers are in full bloom. Nearby tourist attractions include Bomunsa Temple and Minmeoru Beach.
