Songhyeon Geunrin Park

Opened in 2003, Songhyeon Geunrin Park is an urban park located in Songhyeon-dong, Incheon. It covers an area of approximately 70,000㎡ and features walking paths, an artificial waterfall, fountains, and a children's playground. The park is equipped with an inline skating rink and various exercise machines, frequently used by local residents. Originally a hillside shantytown, the area underwent a residential environment improvement project in the late 1990s, and apartments were built, with Songhyeon Geunrin Park created on one side. On one side of the park, there is the Sudoguksan Hillside Shantytown Museum, which faithfully recreates the old appearance of the neighborhood. In 2015, an ecological playground connected to the forest near the Songhyeon Reservoir and a Sky Ecological Garden were newly opened. The Sky Ecological Garden is one of Incheon's renowned spots for trumpet creepers, where a tunnel of bright red flowers blooms in summer. Songhyeon Geunrin Park offers various attractions through new projects every year and is becoming a representative park of Songhyeon-dong, Incheon.
