Lotus Lantern International Meditation Center

Yeondeung International Seon Center is a meditation center for both Koreans and foreigners who practice Korean Seon (Zen). It is a temple under the guidance of the great monk Seongcheol as the head monk, and it is a center where the great monk's teachings are fully alive. In accordance with the will of the great monk Seongcheol, Yeondeung International Seon Center provides a practice space for Koreans and foreigners, general lay Buddhists, and even people of other religions who wish to practice. Every year, it holds the summer retreat (Haan-geo) and winter retreat (Dong-an-geo) as well as spring and autumn mountain retreats, helping people escape the chaos of secular life and focus on finding their true nature through Seon meditation.
