Dongincheon Romantic Festival

The Dongincheon Romantic Festival is a local festival held at the north square of Dongincheon Station. The Dongincheon Romantic Festival will take place over two days from October 18 to October 19, 2025. This festival is planned with the aim of reexamining Dongincheon's past prosperity and revitalizing the local commercial district. The Romantic Festival, themed around 'romance,' consists of various programs and events that recreate the culture and commercial prosperity of the Dongincheon area in the past. On both October 18 and 19, the 'Romantic Two-Day Market' will be held, where merchants from nearby traditional markets, including Songhyeon Market, Jungang Market, and Baedari Craft Market, participate to sell food and crafts. The 'Romantic Busking' will feature stage performances by local artists and youth. On the 18th, the 'Romantic Concert' featuring Won Mi-yeon, Geumsan, Shim Shin, and Cheonrokdam is scheduled. On the 19th, the 'Folk Concert' featuring Sunny, Kim Se-hwan, and Yoon Hyung-ju is planned. In addition, various contents are prepared, including 'Romantic Cinema' in collaboration with Mirim Theater for watching nostalgic movies, and citizen participation programs such as the 'Song and Instrument Competition' and 'Our Neighborhood Sports Day & Quiz Show.'
