[Ganghwa Nadeul-gil Course 6] Birthplace of Hwanam Trail

Ganghwa Nadeul-gil refers to a trail that connects the forts (dondae) located every 1.3 km along the coast, the path linking Ganghwasanseong Fortress, and the route circling the Goryeo royal tombs. It is a path where you can enjoy nature and cultural heritage such as mountains, fields, and the sea while walking. The Path to Hwanam Birthplace starts at Ganghwa Pungmul Market, passes through a rice field path, and upon entering the forest path, a mineral spring welcomes you. There is a small wetland and a earthen fortress with only traces remaining. It is lucky to see the Lotus Festival in August after passing Seonwonsa Temple. After visiting Hwanam Birthplace, the course to Gwangseongbo Fortress allows you to enjoy the leisurely rural scenery.
