Ganghwa Central Market is a traditional market that naturally formed in a densely populated residential area. In 2008, its facilities were improved and it was reborn as a community-oriented [Our Neighborhood Central Market]. Divided into Section A and Section B, the central market consists of approximately 110 stores (including 26 street stalls). Section A retains the form of a traditional market, while Section B features neatly renovated commercial stores. In Section A, there is a mart on the first basement floor and the first floor, a specialized clothing store on the second floor, and a Taekwondo academy on the third floor. In Section B, the first basement floor houses pubs and tea rooms, the first floor has a mart, the second floor has stores selling hanbok or bedding and a missionary group, and the third floor has a tutoring academy. With a total of 35 stores and commercial spaces concentrated here, local residents and tourists can shop conveniently.
