Why travelers stop here
Located in Dongincheon Station, Incheon, Samgangok was founded in 1946 by its first owner, Park Jae-hwang, who came down from Gaeseong and opened the restaurant at its current location. For about 80 years, spanning four generations, it has been meticulously making seolleongtang (ox bone soup) in one place. Samgangok's seolleongtang, characterized by its clear and clean broth, contains the master's know-how, and with its unchanging taste, old customers still visit regularly.
Signature menu items include seolleongtang, which is richly brewed with hanwoo (Korean beef) leg bones and cartilage, along with cartilage soup and boiled pork slices, among other various dishes. In particular, the seasoned cartilage dish developed by the second owner, Kim Ju-suk, is a food that can be enjoyed by people of all ages and is the most popular menu item alongside seolleongtang.
