Sariwon Naengmyeon 1999 is a naengmyeon restaurant located next to Cheongram Middle School in Cheongna International City, Block 3. The broth may taste bland to first-time diners, as it is known for its mild broth flavor. The restaurant started in April 1999 in a semi-basement in Yonghyeon-dong, founded by CEO Park Gwang-nam with his unique menu development and excellent culinary skills. The noodles are made by hand-kneading 100% sweet potato starch, resulting in a very chewy texture. The broth is rich and clean, made by simmering beef brisket thoroughly. The nearby Lake Park is a great place to visit before or after a meal.
