Hanjarihanteok

Located on the right side of the road from Ganghwado Chojidaegyo to Dongmak Beach, Hanjarihanteok is a restaurant where you can enjoy a home-cooked meal prepared by a skilled grandmother. Using seasonal seafood cooked with delicious seasonings, the main dishes are served with a warm bowl of rice to fill you up. Spicy, glossy seasoned stir-fried or grilled webfoot octopus, dried pollack dishes, and savory, umami-rich soy sauce marinated crabs are enough to make you order an extra bowl of rice. If you prefer a lighter meal, the country table set is a good choice. It includes Ganghwado turnip kimchi, fernbrake, chamnamul, bean sprouts, and other namul side dishes, along with a soybean paste stew that tastes like it was made by a country grandmother. Mix all these side dishes with rice, sesame oil, and gochujang, and you won't need any more words. The root craft works that catch your eye from the entrance are also abundant inside the restaurant, all made by the owner.
