Ingye Art Park

Located in Paldal-gu, Suwon, Ingye Art Park, as its name suggests, is a place where you can enjoy both relaxation and music. This well-landscaped park, featuring a lush pine forest, houses the Suwon Outdoor Music Hall, the largest outdoor performance venue in Korea, giving it the structure of an art park. Additionally, the park boasts no crime incidents since its opening due to frequent police patrols. The highlight of Ingye Art Park is undoubtedly the outdoor music hall. Inside the outdoor music hall building, there are dedicated practice rooms and dressing rooms for the Suwon City Symphony Orchestra and the Suwon City Choir. The structure of each hall and the speakers are harmonized to provide the best acoustics anywhere on the lawn square. In 1996, it also won the Korean Architecture Culture Award.
