Geumjusan Mountain (569m) is a mountain located in Yeongjung-myeon, Pocheon-si, Gyeonggi-do. It blocks the eastern side of Geumju-ri and forms the border with Ildong-myeon. The difficulty of the hike is not high, making it a popular course for a light trek. If you head toward Geumnyongsa Temple, a temple located at the entrance of Geumjusan Mountain, you will see a hiking trail sign, and entering the temple allows you to reach the summit relatively easily. Geumnyongsa Temple has a giant Maitreya Buddha statue reaching 18m in height, and many people stop by here before starting their hike. From the Maitreya Buddha to the summit is about 1.3km, and it takes about an hour to reach the top.
