The name is a combination of 'Mir,' a pure Korean word meaning dragon, and 'Stadium,' a term for a sports venue. It consists of the main stadium, Yongin Children's Imagination Forest, ticket booth deck plaza, and a health walking trail. On the second floor of the main stadium of Yongin Mir Stadium, there is an 800m walking trail that can be used regardless of heat or rain, and it is covered with natural grass.
