Cheonggye Lake

Cheonggye Lake is a lake located in Gisan-ri, Ildong-myeon, Pocheon-si, Gyeonggi-do. It is close to Seoul, attracting many tourists from various regions. Formerly called Gisan Reservoir, it is situated deep in Pocheon, offering beautiful views of the clear lake and mountains. Particularly in autumn, the harmony of the fall foliage and the rippling lake is truly spectacular. Free parking is available at the waterfront park parking lot, which is spacious, and restrooms are also accessible. A deck path is installed around Cheonggye Lake with benches placed throughout, making it ideal for walks. Walking along the deck path around the lake and crossing a cloud bridge leads to the Cheonggye Reservoir trail, where you enter a mountain path lined with birch trees. In the clear lake water, you can see large fish and aquatic plants. It is undoubtedly the best place for a peaceful healing experience while enjoying the view of the lake and trees harmonizing together.
