You can experience various programs at 'Chorongi Neungji Village' in the clean and pure nature, like the 'Chorong bird' and 'Geumgang Chorong flower' that only live in pristine areas. Chorongi Neungji Village is located at the southernmost tip of Gapyeong County. The village is also known as 'Guksu-teo', named after the shape of chrysanthemum flowers floating on water, sometimes called [Guk-su] (chrysanthemum water), and also called Guk-su (national water) because the water flowing down from the valley here is considered the best in the country, boasting its clarity and cleanliness. When you visit 'Chorongi Neungji Village', you can enjoy various experiences surrounded by the clean and pure nature of the pristine area. To the south is Yongmunsan Mountain, to the southwest is Yumyeongsan Mountain, and to the east is Bongmisan Mountain. It is the source of the clear and clean Miwoncheon Stream, and has long been known as a village that reveres and preserves tradition and etiquette. It is the only village in Gapyeong County where the natural ecosystem of the primeval forest is well preserved, and it is a mountainous village that inherits and develops unique flavors using natural materials produced in nature. It was also selected as a rural travel destination by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and the Korea Rural Community Corporation.
