Dongtan Lake Park

Hwaseong Dongtan Lake Park is a park created around Sancheok Reservoir and Songbangcheon Stream in Dongtan New Town, providing a space for relaxation and diverse cultural activities for residents of Hwaseong and nearby areas. It is an urban wellness space featuring wide lawns along the lake, large picnic areas, and a phytoncide forest. Based on the concept of 'a wise person is born in a tranquil place with clear water and beautiful topography,' the park preserves the natural environment of the existing Sancheok Reservoir while utilizing the lake's unique scenery. Walking paths are built along the Container Bridge, and various specialized benches allow visitors to comfortably enjoy the lake views. Sports facilities and a water play area enable a variety of activities, and the spectacular large fountain performance, Luna Show, is considered a major attraction of the lake park.
