Park Mok-wol Poetry Garden

Located near Everland, Park Mok-wol Poetry Garden is a memorial garden within Yongin Park. Created in 2015 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of poet Park Mok-wol's birth, this garden covers approximately 830㎡ and consists of 5 poetry monuments, 3 information signs, an entrance wall, and rest facilities. The poetry monuments feature representative works of Cheongnokpa lyric poet Park Mok-wol, including 'The Traveler', 'To the Distant One', 'Mother's Underline', 'To My Love', and 'The Blue Deer', while the information signs reproduce the poet's handwriting of 'Home'. At the entrance of the Poetry Garden, low doorposts create the feeling of visiting a scenic rural home. Visitors can take a brief stroll through the garden while coming down from the grave site, and there is a resting area on the hill. The garden harmonizes well with the poet's lyrical verses, making it a great place to enjoy the surrounding scenery. Yongin Park does not charge separate admission or parking fees for visitors to Park Mok-wol Poetry Garden. Parking is available at the Yongin Park parking lot or a small parking area near the garden. It takes about 15 minutes by car from Pogok IC, and nearby attractions include Maga Art Museum, Korean Lantern Museum, Poeun Jeong Mong-ju's Tomb, Yi Seok-yeong's Tomb, and Everland.
