Azalea Hill

Wonmi Mountain (167m), the main mountain of Bucheon that embraces Bucheon Sports Complex, is popular as a hiking and resting place for Bucheon citizens. Accordingly, Bucheon City created a large park on 30,000㎡ behind Bucheon Municipal Wonmi Library, featuring Azalea Hill along with various cultural and leisure facilities such as a museum, swimming pool, sledding hill, traffic park, and outdoor theater, as well as facilities including a sports complex, artificial waterfall, artificial rock wall, and archery field, opening on March 25, 2001. In spring, about 30,000 azalea flowers bloom in clusters at Wonmi Mountain Azalea Hill, creating a spectacular sight. The Wonmi Mountain Azalea Festival, held here every April, has developed and uses an official emblem, helping to build the image of a local festival. It is located 450 meters from Bucheon Sports Complex Station on Subway Line 7, and nearby attractions include Bucheon Bow Museum and Wonmi Park.
