Modam Park

Modam Park is a park developed around Modamsan Mountain as part of the new town creation in Unyang-dong. It is the largest park in Gimpo City, with Unyang Station to the north, Unyang-dong Cafe Street to the south, and Gimpo Hanok Village and Gimpo Art Village to the east. To the west of the park is the famous Modam Waterfall, which provides relief from the summer heat, and there are fitness stations installed throughout. Modam Park offers many small attractions along various themes, and visitors can enjoy a leisurely walk with their family along the forest trail, passing the local historical site 'Shimeung Shrine' and continuing to the observatory. Shimeung Shrine is a shrine enshrining the spirit tablet of Yanghogong Shimeung, a military official from the mid-Joseon period, and his grave and a monument are located on Modamsan Mountain. ※ Pets allowed (leash and waste bags required).
