Jungmisan Recreational Forest

Jungmisan Natural Recreation Forest is located in Okcheon-myeon, Yangpyeong-gun. Driving up to the Nongdachi Ridge scenic route, you will be greeted by a harmonious view of dense forests and the Namhan River, offering a wide-open vista. At the mountain peak, you can take in the panoramic views of Yongmunsan Mountain, Seoul, and the beautiful landscapes of the Namhan River and Bukhan River at a glance. Jungmisan is said to be named by combining the characters for 'second' (버금중) and 'beautiful' (아름다울미), as its beauty is considered second only to Geumgangsan Mountain.

Jungmisan Natural Recreation Forest features uniquely designed tree houses, row houses, forest cabins, and camping decks harmoniously distributed throughout the area. At the center of the recreation forest, a forest walking trail is installed, allowing visitors to directly experience the forest. In particular, you can receive beneficial forest commentary from forest interpreters that stimulates the five senses, and also participate in forest experience programs and orienteering programs for a more special experience.
