Why travelers stop here
Mieumnaru Folk Village is a village located in Sujeok-dong, Namyangju-si, Gyeonggi-do. Small restaurants where boatmen used to cook rice have increased, forming a food culture street. Named after the pen name of a descendant of the Andong Kim clan, Mieumnaru is well known as a large ferry crossing to Misa-ri, Hanam. In 2006, it was designated as a food culture pilot street by Gyeonggi Province, where you can taste local dishes such as spicy fish stew, seafood stew, and grilled eel.
