Cheonggang Cartoon Museum

Since the opening of Cheonggang Cultural Industry University in 1996, the museum has been collecting rare cartoon materials steadily. It opened on December 10, 2002, with the history of cartoons organized by theme based on over 2,000 types of domestic rare cartoon materials including publications and handwritten manuscripts. It also features creative materials and exhibitions related to animation and game content. Based on materials collected and donated over a long period, the exhibition is organized around individual artists or works. In addition to cartoons, the museum operates a permanent exhibition hall, a special exhibition hall, a curatorial research room, a reading room (experience room), and a storage room, making it easy and interesting to understand animation and game genres.
