Destination briefing
Why travelers stop here
This kiln, established by the late Jisuntak, a former Gyeonggi-do designated cultural property, features facilities classified into molding rooms, carving rooms, and drying kilns, allowing visitors to directly observe the actual process of ceramic production. Additionally, various wooden dolls and masks for shamanistic purposes displayed in the separate room, Doamdang, provide good sights for visitors. Currently, Jisuntak's eldest son, Jisugu, continues the tradition. Since there may be days when ceramics are not produced, it is advisable to contact in advance if you wish to see the production process, and as the process is open to the public, silence is requested during the viewing.
