Why travelers stop here
Gasil Cherry Blossom Road is a famous flower viewing spot located near Everland and Hoam Art Museum, where a spectacular display of cherry blossoms unfolds every spring. It is recognized as the 7th of Yongin's 8 scenic views. The area around Hoam Reservoir, fed by the Hyangsan Mountain stream, is the best cherry blossom colony in Yongin. Along with the royal cherry blossom tunnel at the entrance of Hoam Art Museum, a fantastic cherry blossom forest surrounds the lake. Together with Heewon, a Korean garden showcasing the essence of traditional landscaping next to the museum, it has become a popular spring cherry blossom destination. In autumn, the surrounding maple trees create a beautiful late-autumn landscape.
