The Juksan Holy Place Pilgrimage Trail is a path with a heartbreaking history, where numerous Catholics disappeared as morning dew on the execution grounds during the severe persecution of Catholicism. Starting from Juksan-myeon town, upon reaching Juksan Holy Place, you pass through a sad martyrdom site that is wide and beautifully landscaped. After passing Juksan Holy Place, you cross the wide fields of Iljuk-myeon, where you can enjoy exotic scenery with a distant church building. The field path extending to Jangam-ri, Hwabong-ri, and Geumsan-ri holds various interesting legends and folk tales from around the Yeongnam-daero road.
