Songjeon Spicy Fish Stew

A freshwater spicy fish stew restaurant that has been passed down through four generations since 1977 at Songjeon Reservoir. It has maintained a Blue Ribbon for seven years, with freshwater spicy fish stew as its main menu. The spicy stew menu includes: bass, Chinese mitten crab, and shrimp in bass spicy stew; catfish, Chinese mitten crab, and shrimp in catfish spicy stew; Chinese mitten crab and shrimp in Chinese mitten crab spicy stew; and a mixed spicy stew containing all of these. Additionally, steamed catfish is available. 'Bangbangdol,' a seasoned grilled smelt, is a popular side dish, and the braised chicken and boiled chicken are also delicious. It appeared on KBS's <Matjarang Meotjarang> in 1983 and KBS's <Saengsaeng Jeongbotong> in 2012. Group seating for up to 90 people is available, and it is a favorite spot for members of nearby golf courses: Pine Creek Golf Club, Lake Hills Golf Club, Hallim Yongin CC, Sinan CC, and Hwasan CC.
