Samwon Restaurant

Gapyeong Samwon Restaurant is located on the shores of Cheongpyeong Lake. It has been continuing its tradition for over 50 years since 1976. Run by a mother and son, it is a neat restaurant that brings out the flavor of handcrafted dishes. The signature menu items are braised spicy chicken and boiled chicken, made with native chickens, offering a sweet and spicy addictive taste that is famous in Seorak-myeon. The spicy stew, made consistently for 50 years, has a clean and spicy flavor without any fishy smell, and has been a menu item sought after by many regular customers for decades. For those who cannot eat meat and for children, side menus such as pork cutlet, stir-fried pork with rice, acorn jelly, and pancakes are prepared.
