Destination briefing
Why travelers stop here
Since 1992, the hangover soup restaurant Pyeongtaek Haejangwang has been offering dishes such as seonji haejangguk (ox blood hangover soup), ppyeo haejangguk (bone hangover soup), and ppyeojjim (braised beef ribs). Additional side dishes are available for self-service refills, and kimchi, cheongyang chili peppers, and ssamjang (wrapping sauce) are provided for convenience. The generous portions overflowing in a ttukbaegi (earthenware pot) and the clean yet spicy broth are exceptional.
