Alternative Space LOOP

Alternative Space LOOP is a non-profit gallery that provides exhibition space and supports various exhibition-related matters for promising young artists. LOOP started in 1999 in the Hongdae area as Korea's first alternative space, and in 2019, marking its 20th anniversary, it made a new start as a non-profit cultural and arts corporation. Aiming for solidarity and sharing, it is a place that shares the flow of international contemporary art with citizens through diverse exchanges of domestic and international artists, and operates as an art organization with a public and communal character shared by all, not owned by a few. Since its opening, it has held numerous exhibitions and performances each year and has been engaged in various international exchange activities.
