Why travelers stop here
Playing with toys is as natural and important for growing children as breathing and eating. However, in reality, children's playgrounds are disappearing and beneficial, fun playthings are lacking. The Toy Library alleviates parents' financial burden and provides opportunities for families to play together by lending a variety of toys. Parents' attention has been drawn to facilities that support child rearing, such as physical development, emotional cultivation, and brain development of growing children. The Dream Toy Library, the first of its kind among 232 autonomous districts nationwide, is available to those registered as residents in Seoul or employees of companies located in Seoul, with children up to 8 years of age (based on full age), or up to 12 years of age for children with disabilities, for an annual membership fee of 15,000 won per year. Rental is free. Up to 2 items per child can be rented for 14 days, with one 14-day extension possible. Reservations can also be made for one person per toy currently on loan.
