Since its opening in 1979, Hanyang University Museum has continuously excavated, collected, preserved, and researched valuable cultural heritage. Since 2003, it has held special exhibitions every year and conducted various cultural experiences, cultural lectures, and museum education programs, fulfilling its role as a cultural platform and complex cultural arts space beyond the university campus. The building has floors 1 to 5, but the exhibition space actually starts from the 2nd floor. On the 2nd floor, you can see the past and present of various electronic devices. On the 3rd floor, there is a special exhibition hall of about 100 pyeong where special exhibitions on various themes are held. The 4th floor features the Ceramics, Calligraphy and Painting, and Folk Life Room, which displays selected representative ceramics, calligraphy and paintings, and folk items from the collection, and is organized to help understand the lives and culture of the people of the time through splendid and delicate craft techniques as well as various calligraphy and paintings and daily tools. Finally, the 5th floor Archaeology and History Room introduces various sites and artifacts investigated by Hanyang University Museum since the excavation of the Misari prehistoric site in 1979.
