Why travelers stop here
Located in Banpo-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul, the Hansaengyeon Human Exploration Science Museum first opened in August 2018, and in September 2023, it moved from its previous location near Express Bus Terminal Station to Gubanpo Station. The museum focuses on allowing children to explore the human body, learn about the structure and functions of our body, and scientifically understand the processes of growth and disease development, thereby helping them explore and develop their own health, growth, and future. In particular, the integrated science experiment education conducted at the Hansaengyeon Human Exploration Science Museum is based on the 3iN (Inspiration, Integration, Innovation) philosophy, which aligns with the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the era of integrated liberal arts and sciences, emphasizing children's scientific brain development and future career exploration. The science education programs linked to the museum are designed for a wide range of age groups, from preschoolers to high school students, and are specialized by grade level. Utilizing science textbooks and teaching materials developed directly by the Hansaengyeon Science Education Team, the museum offers world-class science museum-linked programs.
