Destination briefing
Why travelers stop here
This is a cozy hanok (traditional Korean house) with an earthen floor, giving the feeling of visiting one's hometown or maternal grandparents' house. There is a spacious yard right in front of the restaurant and a large parking lot nearby. Inside, you are greeted by an antique atmosphere with ceramics and ink paintings. You can enjoy noodle dishes such as hand-cut clam noodles, as well as set meals and individual dishes. When ordering a set meal, you get generous side dishes like young radish kimchi, braised tofu, and japchae along with the main dish. Doenjang jjigae (soybean paste stew) is served as a basic accompaniment. It is located 4 km from the ticket booth before entering Jebudo, on the old road.
