Since opening in 1952, Okcheon Naengmyeon Hwanghae Restaurant has been renowned as a cold noodle specialty restaurant, continuously attracting food enthusiasts. The characteristic of their naengmyeon is that they directly grind buckwheat to make the noodles, and they make soy sauce from meju (fermented soybean block) using beans purchased in autumn, seasoning the noodles only with this soy sauce. The kimchi served as a side dish is made by selecting only autumn radishes and salting them for 2 to 3 years.
