Yeolguja

Yeolguja is a rustic-style traditional Korean restaurant located along Hwangguicheon Stream in Homaesil-dong, Gwonseon-gu, Suwon. Although the road is unpaved, it has a spacious parking lot, and the large dining area is suitable for group gatherings. Inside, there are both floor seating tables and tables with chairs, while outdoor tables are also available. True to its reputation as a traditional eatery, it is popular for its homestyle table setting reminiscent of a countryside grandmother's house. Signature dishes include homemade cheonggukjang (fermented soybean paste), kongbiji (soybean curd residue), tofu, grilled fish, and freshly cooked black rice in a stone pot. Sikhye (sweet rice punch) is served as a dessert, and the nearby Hwangguicheon Stream walking trail offers a pleasant post-meal stroll.
