Hwangju Saenggogi

Located on the 5060 Food Culture Street from Exit 1 of Dongducheon Jungang Station, Hwangju Saenggogi is a Korean beef raw meat specialty restaurant that has been run by three generations for over 50 years since 1968 in the alley of the main shopping center in Dongducheon's old town. It is a Hwanghae-do Hwangju-style restaurant that was also introduced on the TV entertainment program 'Delicious Guys (Episode 136)' in 2017. You can enjoy the unique taste of Korean beef by grilling fresh, non-frozen special cuts over charcoal. Yukhoe (beef tartare) and yuk-sashimi (raw beef slices) are sold only for two days—the day the meat arrives and the next day—to ensure freshness. The dongchimi (radish water kimchi) served as a side dish is refreshing, and the bibim guksu (spicy mixed noodles) is delicious. ※ Pets not allowed (guide dogs permitted).
