Paldang Susan

A freshwater eel and spicy stew specialty restaurant located in Deokso, Wabu-eup, Namyangju-si, Gyeonggi-do. It has both indoor and outdoor seating. The charcoal-grilled eel comes in salted and seasoned varieties; after the hall manager demonstrates how to grill the eel, you can slowly grill it yourself. The first side dishes are provided, but additional refills such as lettuce, perilla leaves, garlic, and ginger are self-service. A refreshing special stew with blue crabs, shrimp, and hand-torn dough, as well as a freshwater snail and fish cake noodle soup, are specialties. The unwritten rule of this restaurant is to eat in the order of grilled eel, special stew, and then fish cake noodle soup. The parking lot is spacious for easy access, and Wolmuncheon Stream is right next to the restaurant, making it a good place for a walk.
