Sangwoo Cialtang

Sangwoo Cialtang is a popular al-tang (cod roe stew) restaurant in Sutak-dong, near the Gopchang Alley of Guri Traditional Market. From the outside, you can see floor seating reminiscent of a traditional Korean wooden veranda through the windows, and on nice days, the windows can be rolled up for a breezy atmosphere. Inside, there are also table seats, so you can choose according to your preference. The main menu is al-tang. It is boiled at the table like a hot pot, and it is rich in ingredients including not only roe but also fish tripe and various vegetables. There are also additional menu items like jeon (Korean pancakes), which go well with the spicy stew for an even more delicious meal.
