Destination briefing
Why travelers stop here
Seo Ong Buckwheat Noodles is located on the right side as you head from Guri towards Seoul, going up Manguri Hill. The signature menu item is buckwheat noodles, which are made by grinding buckwheat in-house and pulling the noodles, resulting in a chewier and more elastic texture. In addition to buckwheat noodles, the jang kalguksu and perilla seed kalguksu also use freshly pulled buckwheat noodles. Side dishes include buckwheat pancakes and buckwheat crepes, with the potato dumplings being particularly popular for their chewy texture. The young radish kimchi is so delicious that it is sold separately.
