Neunggok Halmeoni Buk-eo-tang

Located near Neunggok Station, which is now a closed station, Neunggok Halmeoni Buk-eo-tang is a traditional restaurant famous for its pollack soup. This restaurant boasts a history of over 50 years, starting in the 1970s when the first owner, an elderly woman, began the business in her youth. The signature menu item is the spicy pollack soup, which contains one semi-dried pollack. The high-quality semi-dried pollack is steamed thoroughly with special seasoning, so there is no fishy smell and the texture is chewy. It is even more delicious when you add tofu and ramen noodles. Another specialty of this restaurant is the kimchi made with highland cabbage from Gangwon-do, which is crunchy and refreshing. Both the pollack soup and the highland kimchi are available for packaging and delivery.
