Gu Ilsan Janggunjip is a specialty restaurant for grilled pork special cuts near Ilsan Station on the Gyeongui·Jungang Line. There is a parking lot in front of the building, but it is rather small. The interior is divided into two sections and has many tables. Popular menu items include soft agusal (pork cheek meat) and galmaegisal (pork skirt meat), which refer to both sides of the pork cheek and the meat on the bridge of the pig's nose. The agusal uses American pork, while all other meats are domestic. On one side of the restaurant, there is a self-service bar with kimchi, seasoned scallions, garlic, and sauces for convenient use. As a famous restaurant in Ilsanseo-gu, there is often a wait; when waiting, take a number ticket at the counter and wait for guidance. Gu Ilsan Janggunjip also sells pork large intestines for takeout.
