Gasieomeong Kimbap

Gasieomeong Kimbap is a snack bar located in Nohyeong-dong, Jeju City, Jeju Special Self-Governing Province. It is in the city center, a 10-minute drive from Jeju Airport, making it a good place for a meal before or after arriving at the airport. 'Gasieomeong' is a Jeju dialect term meaning mother-in-law. It became famous for its kimbap made with Jeju tott (a type of seaweed), and is now the flagship store of Gasieomeong Kimbap, which has franchise locations nationwide. Signature menu items include tott kimbap and shrimp cracker tteokbokki with fried shrimp, as well as bibim mandu, sukju ramyeon, and Hanwoo tteokguk. Many tourists pack kimbap to take on their travels. It opens at 7:00 AM, making it a good spot for breakfast. Nearby attractions include Iho Tewoo Beach and Naedo Aljakji Beach.
