Gaya Park

Gaya Park, also called Gaya Walking Park, is sometimes referred to as Seo Clan Park because the Seo family has lived in the area for generations. The park is equipped with walking paths, exercise facilities, benches, and various amenities, allowing visitors to relax and exercise at the same time. It features a monument commemorating General Yi Jong-mu's conquest of Tsushima Island (Daemado), erected on March 1, 2001. The monument measures 2.5m in height and 59cm in base width, made of black stone and granite. The lower part is inscribed with the phrase 'Dokdo is our land, Daemado is Korean land.'
