Why travelers stop here
A neighborhood park located along the stream in Dapsimni-dong, Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul. It is a small but charming park featuring a children's playground, a pond, an octagonal pavilion, a rose tunnel, a pine tree rest area, and walking trails. There are also basketball and badminton courts. It is said that the park was created on the site of the former Jeonmaecheong (National Tax Service office), and its name was taken from the native name of the old Dapsimni area's natural village, Gandemae (中山), hence the name Gandemae Park.
