Gamcheon Valley

Gamcheon Valley, a natural valley located in Naeseo-eup, Changwon, is a famous water play area. The valley is situated downstream where water flowing from the foot of Gwangnyeongsan Mountain (722.5m) descends into the village, and it is a scenic area with natural villages such as Oksugol Village, Sinmok Village, Singam Village, and Gamcheon Village. Although there is no parking lot near the valley, it is a well-known water play area, so wide shoulders have been created to allow parking on the roadside. Safety guard posts, restrooms, life rings, benches, and hand-washing facilities are available. Gamcheon Valley is a downstream area with shallow water and slow currents, making it safe even for young children. There is plenty of shade from trees along the stream, making it a great place to enjoy relaxation.
