Why travelers stop here
Gangnaru Camping Site is located at the foot of Hwangmaesan Mountain, known as the Geumgangsan of Yeongnam. Hwangmaesan Mountain, with an elevation of 1108 m, is called Sumunjungmae because its reflection in the blue waters of Hapcheon Lake resembles a plum blossom floating on the lake. It is a scenic mountain for all four seasons: in spring, azaleas color the endless meadows; in summer, cool valleys flow; in autumn, silver pampas grass covers the tranquility; and in winter, white snow and wind bring the harsh taste of winter. Right there is Gangnaru Camping Site. This campsite, near Hapcheon Lake, offers glamping. It has a swimming pool to escape the summer heat, and a lake right in front of the campsite for fishing. Individual terraces are available for barbecues, and the glamping units are equipped with a kitchen, toilet, and shower for convenience.
