Gangneung Coffee Street

Anmok Cafe Street has been renowned as a coffee destination since the early 1980s. Starting in the 1990s, Korea's top coffee masters gathered here one by one, and as coffee shops roasting their own unique beans increased, they began to captivate the eyes and taste buds of coffee enthusiasts nationwide. Recently, Gangneung has rapidly emerged as a coffee city, with the number of coffee shops approaching that of raw fish restaurants, growing into a representative coffee city of Korea. Visitors can enjoy coffee and desserts with diverse personalities, and an annual coffee festival is also held, adding to the attractions.
