Gangmun Beach

Gangmun Beach is located in Gangmun-dong, and nearby there is a small port called Gangmunhang, where you can enjoy fresh raw fish caught at dawn at the nearby sashimi restaurants. Well-maintained accommodation facilities are available, and the Gyeongpo area is close by. At Gangmun Beach, you can anchor at a spot 5 to 10 minutes away by boat and admire the vast underwater scenery of natural rocks, sea anemones, large fish, etc., at depths of 5 to 30 meters, making it a popular spot for scuba diving enthusiasts. It also offers underwater diving for newlyweds who want to create memories. Additionally, with Gangmunhang port, 16 fishing boats regularly catch flatfish, rockfish, octopus, clams, sea urchins, sea squirts, sea cucumbers, etc., with spring catches including halibut, flounder, and large clams, summer and autumn catches including Spanish mackerel, and winter catches including black rockfish. Fishing enthusiasts also catch dace and rockfish at the port.
