Gangwon Kids Triennale 2023

Gangwon Kids Triennale 2023 is the only large-scale visual arts festival for children in Korea, designed to connect children's pureness and infinite imagination with the world through art, based on Gangwon's environment and identity. Under the main theme of 'Plateau of Art, Pyeongchang,' it is the second-year project of the Gangwon Triennale held in Pyeongchang. From the planning stage, the exhibition theme was derived through the voices of children, the main characters of the event, and the children's curator group 'Gang Kids 2' was selected and operated to gather various opinions and ideas for the event. This year's festival will take place from the 21st to the 15th of next month in the area of Jinbu-myeon, Pyeongchang-gun, the plateau of art. The event with the children's curator group Gang Kids features various spaces, including experiential works created for children by 12 top-tier artist teams representing Korea, a 'Kids Book Zone' where children can see picture books they wrote and drew themselves, and a 'Media Art Zone' prepared for children with high media affinity.
