Gangjin Hydrangea Road Festival

20 farms cultivate hydrangeas over an area of 58,251㎡, accounting for 32.7% of the national production area and 91% of the total production in South Jeolla Province, making it the leading producer of the best hydrangeas in the country and a frontrunner in the Gangjin flower industry. This festival commercializes a total of 8 km of hydrangea flower roads, centered around the hiking trails of Goseongsa Temple, Geumgoksa Temple, and Boeunsan Mountain in Gangjin-eup, which were donated free of charge by flower farms, and turns the local brand into content, directly linking to the local economy.
